I was suffering from dizziness whenever praying. I visted Dr Arasa Raj Sinnathuray and was happy with the treatment received. I'm also very happy with the doctor's tireless efforts to find the solution. The first couple of treatments using the Epley maneuver were not successful, with no positive effect at all. But the doctor then took time for more detailed analysis of the symptom and possible causes, and came up with another solution involving the 'somersault maneuver' as I had an unusual form of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) involving the anterior / superior canal, instead of the more common posterior canal version. That was successful, though not immediately apparently so. On the doctor's advice, I avoided getting into the trigger positions for the next few days. The next time I tried the prayer 'sujud' (prostration) position, the vertigo did not happen.
